A Lakefront House Comes of Age:
A 1970’s contemporary house needed to regain its soul after being fragmented by several previous partial renovations throughout the years. The aesthetic goal of the project was to create a new sense of unity, elegance, and cohesion with the lakefront as its backdrop. Walls were selectively removed or rearranged resulting in a more open, flowing and spacious floor plan with greater emphasis on the exquisite view. Understated yet elegant materials and finishes were employed throughout the house to reinforce the fresh, clean-lined design.
